Licence and credits

What you can do with the templates, and where the fonts and artwork come from.

Using the templates

Every template on this site may be used for personal and commercial invitations. Print them, share them, sell the printed invitations you make with them. You do not need to credit us.

That is the licence, and it does not change between plans. Some designs need a Pro subscription to open; what you make with one afterwards is yours on exactly the same terms as a free one, and it stays yours if you later cancel.

What you may not do is redistribute the templates themselves - that is, sell or give away the template files as templates, or publish them as your own template library.

Fonts

All 39 bundled families are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits bundling and redistribution as part of software. They are self-hosted from this domain, so nothing is fetched from a font service when you design or print. The full licence text ships in the repository at public/fonts/LICENSES.md.

Artwork

The decorative elements - the botanical sprigs, wreaths, frames, dividers, and celebration motifs - are drawn for this project. They are generated from geometry rather than traced from anything, which is why they recolour cleanly and why there is no third-party licence attached to them.

Template credits

  • Botanical artwork - Original artwork, MIT
  • Cormorant Garamond, Lato - SIL Open Font License 1.1

Photographs

No stock photographs are bundled. Any photograph in a design is one you added yourself, and it stays on your device. That means the licence for it is between you and wherever it came from.
